The Queen of England’s tailors just recreated Char Aznable’s Zeon uniform

British tailors Dege & Skinner are officially working for the British crown, as the queen herself officially appointed them. They are known worldwide for their attention to detail, which may be why they work for royalty. And now, they have worked on royalty of some sort… space royalty in fact. This is because they just tailored the Zeon uniform of one Char Aznable from Mobile Suit Gundam.

The uniform comes with both the Red Comet’s iconic red Zeonic suit jacket and trousers. And to make it even more special, they also used the same fabric as the uniforms of the British Royal Guard.

The royal tailors made this specifically for the Mobile Suit Gundam x ISETAN WELCOME TO ZEON exhibition, which happens on 25th April at the Isetan Shinjuku department store. And the department store is selling three of these suits. However, potential buyers better bring a lot of cash, because each set costs 864,000 yen.

The exhibition will also be selling several high-class items that will surely cost a lot. These includes Dege & Skinner’s replica of Char’s White Suit with Purple Oxford shirt, which costs 183,600 yen. Meanwhile, Ghiren Zabi’s dress shoes by British brand Tricker’s will cost 118,800 yen. But if you find the prices a bit too high, they will also sell a limited-edition Char’s Zaku II GunPla worth 2,700 yen.
