Ryuk performs PPAP for Death Note Light Up the NEW World

Daimaou Kosaka’s PPAP (Pen-Pinapple-Apple-Pen) has become a huge viral hit around the world, and it would only be fitting that a certain Apple-loving Shinigami perform his own version of the viral video… because apples. So without further ado, here he is, Death Note’s Ryuk performing PPAP:

Unlike the original viral video, Ryuk brought actual props, like a pen, a pineapple, an apple, and a pen… oh, wait.

The Death Note Light Up the NEW World film, the latest in the Death Note franchise and the first one in over a decade, opened at #1 in Japan, dethroning the juggernaut known as your name. The movie has also started screening in Singapore this week.
