As reported a week ago on WOW Japan, the release year for the final film in the New Evangelion Tetralogy, “New Evangelion Theatrical Version: ||”, will be in 2020. The “Rebirth of Evangelion” film series that started in 2007 will reach its conclusion in a little over two years.
A remake of the original anime TV series broadcast from October 1995 to March 1996, the film series introduces new characters as well as new twists to the Evangelion lore. Further details will be released soon. Stay tuned to WOW Japan for future updates!
