One of Pokemon’s biggest mysteries has always been the Pokeball. What’s it like inside? Is it comfortable? Do large Pokemon like Snorlax and Groudon shrink to fit inside a Pokeball? What’s the difference inside a Great Ball, a Pokeball, an Ultra Ball, a Dive Ball, a Dusk ball, a Heavy Ball, and a Master Ball? Kotaku’s Patricia Hernandez recently went straight to the source and asked the man himself, Junichi Masuda, Pokemon Sun and Moon’s producer, about the Pokeball details.

The Japanese game producer happily answered the question and said “I think it’s safe to say that it’s very comfortable inside inside of a Pokeball, it’s a very comfortable environment,” and added “Maybe the equivalent of a high-end suite room in a fancy hotel.”

There you have it folks, straight from the horse’s mouth. A Pokeball can be pretty comfortable, so remember, when you’re out there in a desert or in a swamp in your journey to become a Pokemon master, your Pokemon might be sitting pretty inside their Pokeballs, all safe and relaxing.
