Following the incredible premiere on the final day of C3 AFA SG 2018, Mob Psycho 100 II is set to debut on Japanese TV next month. And to further whet the fans’ appetite, the staff have released a new PV! It features the OP song by MOB CHOIR titled “99.9”. The new video also features English Subtitles as well.
The anime is scheduled to premiere on January 7, 2019. The anime is adapted from ONE’s other popular manga, which shares the same title as One Punch Man. Here’s how Funimation, which distributes the anime out west, describes the story:
Kageyama Shigeo, also known as Mob, is an 8th grader with extraordinary psychic powers. Under the guidance of his somewhat inept mentor, Reigen, Mob uses his abilities to exorcise spirits. However, his desire to lead a normal life leads him to suppress both his powers and emotions. When he reaches 100 percent, his repressed feelings explode, unleashing a darker force within him.
The anime previously made its South East Asian Premiere during the Day Stage of C3 AFA Singapore 2018.
