Aka Akasaka’s bestselling romantic comedy manga, Kaguya-sama: Love is War, is the latest series to get a live-action film. And now, it reveals a brand new teaser trailer, which also reveals the film’s theme song, “KOI-WAZURAI” by King & Prince. Of course, King & Prince is the idol group that lead actor Shou Hirano, who plays Miyuki Shirogane in the film, belongs to.
Aside from Hirano, the cast also includes:

Hayato Kawai (live-action My Love Story!!, Nisekoi) is directing the film, with Yuuichi Tokunaga writing the scripts. Principal photography has now begun, and is scheduled to go on until the end of April. It is set to premiere in Japan on 6 September 2019.
Aka Akasaka’s Kaguya-sama: Love is War manga follows the student council of a prestigious academy. Its top student is Miyuki Shirogane, who is also the school’s student council president. He is in love with his Vice President, Kaguya Shinomiya, the school’s #2-ranked student and heiress to the Shinomiya business empire. Actually, both of them like each other, but can never confess because of sheer pride. To them, whoever confesses loses, so they do a series of “battles” to get the other to confess their love for one another.
