A special event was held yesterday — 21st June 2018, to announce the exhibition. Araki said in his speech at the event, “Thirty years have passed since the serialization of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure began. This exhibition is the culmination of our previous work… The exhibition is free to everyone younger than junior high students, so we’d like to invite everyone to come. The original illustrations are always a little bit different from the printed works. I hope young people find original ideas for study and work based on their feelings about the original illustrations. This is my secret hope.”.
