  • Tokyo Ghoul mangaka teases mystery project on twitter

Tokyo Ghoul:re has now ended its run as both an anime and as a manga. However, it looks like Tokyo Ghoul mangaka Sui Ishida is about to move on to a new project. In his New Year greeting tweet, he posted an illustration of a new character named Mitsuki Shirota. And yes, he’s a trap character who will be appearing in the mangaka’s next project.

Unfortunately, Ishida didn’t reveal much details, but he did greet everyone a happy new year. He admitted that he’s trying to do work outside of manga in 2019, and though has come up with an idea for his next one. And there, he introduced us to Mitsuki… who is again, a boy.

So, what will this new project be about? It looks like we may find out soon enough. As for now, Ishida is still silent, so we’ll have to wait some more.
