  • Gintama manga resumes in Jump Giga for ‘Final Run’ after leaving Shonen Jump

Gintama sure loves to troll people, huh? After “ending” its run in Shonen Jump last September, the manga is now resuming within the pages of Jump Giga magazine. However, the magazine has stated that this will be the manga’s “final run”. Previously, the manga announced that it’s ending in September, but then announced that the story will continue in Jump Giga. Just Gintama being Gintama…

The manga will run in the magazine for three straight issues. Jump Giga is also featuring it in its cover for all three. The return chapter features 52 pages, and of course, that includes some color pages as well. As for if this is really the last run for Gintama, well, just remember that this is Gintama we’re talking about.

So, will this really be Gintama’s true final run? Or is Hideaki Sorachi trolling us again?
