‘Wearable anime/game merchandise’ brand and maker Super Groupies has recently announced its latest collaboration line of apparel and accessories line-ups – this time round with popular Square Enix game NieR:Automata!
The range of clothing and accessories in this round of collaboration feature stylish, unisex designs in classy shades of blacks, grays and a little white – inspired by the two two main characters in the game – 2B and 9S; and their robotic “sidekick” Pod042. Let’s take a look!
2B Model long jacket (unisex) – JPY 26,800. The intricate embroidery details from 2B’s dress are replicated on the pocket flaps of this stylish jacket.
2B Model long wallet – JPY 10,800. Again, the beautiful motifs on 2B’s dress design are replicated on this long pleather wallet.
2B Model booties – details and retailing price for this item is as yet unavailable at time of announcement/post.
9S Model hoodie jacket (unisex) – JPY 24,800. This casual jacket’s design was inspired by 9S’s MA-1 outfit.
9S Model wallet – JPY 10,800. The silver zipper part was inspired by the image of 9S’s chocker design.
9S Model engineer boots – details and retailing price for this item is as yet unavailable at time of announcement/post.
Pod 042 Model backpack – JPY 15,800.
2-Way Chain-Bracelet Watches – JPY 19,800 each. 2B Model in elegant classic silver; and 9S Model in stylish metallic-black.
With exceptions for the footwear, Super Groupies is currently accepting pre-orders for the apparels and accessory items via their online shop (overseas customers/purchasers may probably require the service of a proxy forwarder to get the items shipped internationally). The deadline for pre-ordering this range of NieR:Automata collaboration items is 14 October 2018. The estimated shipping out dates for all successfully pre-ordered items will be late-January 2019 for the apparels; and late-February 2019 for the backpack, wallets and watches. Fans who are interested may check out Super Groupies special collaboration website for more details.
