  • Actor Diego Boneta shows very first image from live-action Monster Hunter film

    Capcom’s hit Monster Hunter franchise is getting a live-action adaptation from Constantin film. And now, Mexican Actor Diego Boneta, who is part of the film’s main cast, has posted the first image from the movie. It shows his character, Sergeant Marshall in action. And from the looks of things, they really are going for a modern world take on the hit video game franchise.

    Aside from Boneta, Thai martial arts actor, Tony Jaa (Ong Bak), Milla Jovovich (Resident Evil films), T.I. Harris (Ant-Man), and Ron Perlman (Hellboy) are all starring in the upcoming film. Jovovich plays a character named Artemis, while Jaa plays “The Hunter”. Meanwhile, Perlman will play “The Admiral,” the leader of “The Hunter’s” team. Finally, Harris will be playing a sniper named Link.

    Here’s how Capcom describes the film’s story:

    The film will depict two protagonists who come from different worlds and must cooperate in fighting monsters in order to survive.
