  • Bandai is releasing old school Pokemon figures from the 90’s

Back in the 90’s, when Pokemon was still a new thing, Pikachu’s original design is a bit… well… fat. And now, Bandai is bringing back that old school nostalgic design back, as well as other classics. This is because they’re re-releasing several figures from waaaaaaaaaay back during the 90’s.

The figures come from their old line of Pokemon Kids toys, which they’re releasing in sets. The first set includes Pikachu, Raichu, Charizard, and Metapod, while the second set includes Jigglypuff, Magnemite, and Gengar. Finally, the third set includes Eevee, Mewtwo, and Lapras, as well as a mystery figure.

Each figure will cost 194 yen, and will also come with a special Game Boy-inspired box. Now that’s nostalgia that reminds you of your childhood, right?
