  • Toru Ohkawa returns from health-related hiatus

Back in December, seiyuu Toru Ohkawa fell sick to an unspecified illness. Of course, this forced him to take a break and go on hiatus for his voice acting work. But now, Mausu Promotion has announced that he’s finally returning to work!

The announcement itself is very timely, as Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Part V is getting an anime adaptation. Of course, Ohkawa plays the narrator for the series.

Aside from Jojo’s narrator, he also voiced Gordes in Fate/Apocrypha, as well as Ichinosuke Okajima in Killing Bites. He also voiced Tokugawa Ieyasu in Sengoku Basara, as well as Detective Pikachu himself in the Detective Pikachu game. However, his most popular role is of course, Roy Mustang from the original Fullmetal Alchemist TV anime.

    Welcome back Toru Ohkawa!
