Kotobukiya’s official “Frame Arms Girl” Facebook account has posted photos of their exhibition booth from the recently concluded Anime Expo in California, and we’re super pumped as the figure and plamo company’s hit franchise looks to be getting a second season very soon!
The “Frame Arms Girl” series features the robots from that line portrayed as anthropomorphic girls, known as F.A. Girls for short, who can be equipped with various armor and weapon parts, including those from the Frame Arms and M.S.G weapon series.
The anime adaptation follows a girl named Ao Gennai who is sent a prototype F.A. Girl known as Gourai and is tasked with helping her gather data on both battle and emotions. The two soon encounter more F.A. Girls, who Gourai battles against while also having various adventures alongside.
The series spawned a worldwide phenomeneon, especially after it was aired simultaneously in Japan via BS11 and Tokyo MX, and in South East Asia via Facebook Video. Their voice actors Narumi Kaho and Rika Abe also made personal appearances at Anime Festival Asia Jakarta and Singapore in 2017.
