  • Japanese Mobile Game “Kirara Fantasia” to Add “K-ON!” Expansion

    Japanese free-to-play mobile RPG “Kirara Fantasia” has announced that its line-up of magical girls will be expanding to include the cast of “K-On!“! “Afterschool Teatime” band members Yui Hirasawa, Azusa Nakano, Mio Akiyama, Ritsu Tainaka, and Tsumugi Kotobuki will join the battle of cute magical girls as a soldier, magician, monk, knight, and alchemist-class characters respectively!

    K-On! is a Japanese four-panel comic strip seinen manga written and illustrated by Kakifly between the May 2007 and October 2010 issues of Manga Time Kirara. The story follows the adventures of four school girls who came together to form a band and save their school’s music club. The sequel “K-On! Shuffle”, which features a different group of girls from another school, began serialization in July 2018.

    Kirara Fantasia is a free-to-play mobile game published by Houbunsha, based on characters from titles in Houbunsha’s “Manga Time Kirara” manga anthology. These titles include some of Hobunsha’s most popular works, including “New Game!”, “School-Live!”, “Blend S”, “Slow Start”, “Laid-Back Camp”, and now “K-ON!”
