  • Dragon Ball Super: Broly anime film drops first trailer during Comic-Con

    The San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) proved to also be huge for Japanese animation, as Toei and Funimation dropped a bombshell. Of course, this regards the upcoming Dragon Ball Super: Broly anime film! They revealed a new trailer, which is available in Japanese and English audio:

    So… we finally get to see Broly tussle with Frieza?! Well, we know people who would kill to see that on the big screen!

    The film will be having its Japanese release on 14th December, with confirmed international screenings. For the Japanese-dubbed version, Masako Nozawa will be reprising her most iconic role. The other confirmed cast members include Ryo Horikawa, Ryusei Nakao, Bin Shimada, Aya Hisakawa, Toshio Furukawa, Takeshi Kusao, Kouichi Yamadera, Masakazu Morita, and Katsuhisa Houki.

    Meanwhile, Dragon Ball mangaka Akira Toriyama himself is writing the script and is also doing the film’s character designs. And of course, Toei will once again be providing the animation for this latest film.
