  • Zoids Wild reveals new PV, Ami Koshimizu joins cast

    Takara Tomy and Oriental Light & Magic are bringing back the Zoids franchise with the new Zoids Wild anime. And now, the staff have revealed a brand new PV for the upcoming anime, which premieres next season. This new PV not only teases the new Zoids, but also the new characters as well.

    Aside from the new PV, the staff also revealed a brand new character, and her name is Sauce. Yes folks, it looks like the anime is naming characters after food, except for the protagonist. Ami Koshimizu, who voices Code Geass’s Kallen, as well as Freezing’s Ingrid Bernstein is voicing her for the series. Sauce is a member of the Supreme Team, and she’s also the only female member. She also serves as the team’s mediator as well.

    Zoids Wild will be making its Japanese premiere on July 7, 2018 via TBS and MBS. Oriental Light and Magic will be animating the this latest series in the Zoids franchise. People might know the studio for their work on the long-running Pokemon TV anime, as well as Inazuma Eleven. ToHeart2 and Pokemon Diamond and Pearl’s Norihiko Sudo will be directing the new series. The cast will include:

    • Kensho Ono as Arashi
    • Takahiro Sakurai as Bacon
    • Mikako Komatsu as Penne
    • Etsuko Kozakura as Onigiri
    • Subaru Kimura as Gyoza
    • Kaito Ishikawa as Drake

    As for the model kits, they will be releasing new Zoids such as Wild Liger and Gil Raptor sometime by June this year. They also previously revealed that each kit will cost around 3,000 yen. They also previously unveiled several other new Zoids models as well.
