  • “Zenki” Illustrator Yoshihiro Kuroiwa Passes Away at Age 55

    “Zenki” illustrator Yoshihiro Kuroiwa has passed away last 8th May 2018; he was 55. The announcement was made today, 16th May 2018, on his blog by his wife. The cause of death was myocardial infarction.

    “Zenki” was a Japanese manga series written by Kikuhide Tani and illustrated by Yoshihiro Kuroiwa. It was serialized in the Shueisha’s Monthly Shōnen Jump from 1992 to 1996. “Zenki” was adapted into a fifty-one episode anime television series in 1995 that was highly popular in South East Asia in general and the Philippines in particular.
