  • Zoids Wild TV anime, plastic model line, manga, and video game announced

    It looks like Takara Tomy is bringing back their beloved Zoids plastic model line, because they just announced Zoids Wild. The new series will include a plastic model line, Nintendo Switch game, manga, and of course, a TV anime. They also unveiled a new PV which introduces the Wild Liger and the Gil Raptor.

    Oriental Light and Magic will be animating the TV anime, which premieres this summer 2018. ToHeart2 and Pokemon Diamond and Pearl’s Norihiko Sudo will be directing the new TV anime.

    As for the model kits, they will be releasing Wild Liger and Gil Raptor sometime by June this year. Each kit will cost around 3,000 yen. They also unveiled several new Zoids models as well:

    Takara Tomy even unveiled a large statue of the Wild Liger during the announcement.

    As for the other aspects of the franchise, they will also be launching a manga on CoroCoro Comic. The franchise will also feature a new video game for Nintendo Switch, as well as a smartphone app. Expect that Takara Tomy will reveal more details in the days to come.
