During the Japan Amusement Expo (JAEPO) event, game producers usually feature more news about upcoming arcade games. The event’s 2018 edition already kicked off last weekend, and also held a Fate stage presentation. There, they revealed new details about the upcoming Fate/Grand Order Arcade game.
Much like the KanColle arcade game, FGO Arcade’s game cabinets will also give players a random card whenever they play. Called “Kira Cards”, they can also allow players to change their characters’ appearance within the game itself.
As previously announced, the game will feature 20 Servants when it launches in Japanese arcades in late July. These include Mash Kyrielight (Shielder), Artoria Pendragon (Saber) and Elizabeth Bathory (Lancer). They will also add Jeanne d’Arc (Ruler) as a playable Servant, along with others. Type-Moon will also be holding location tests in April, and it will be including the above-mentioned servants, along with a few others. These include newly-announced servants in Emiya (Archer), Cu Chulainn (Caster), Medusa (Rider), and Hassan-i Sabbah (Assassin). However, they didn’t reveal if the other previously-announced servants like Siegfried (Saber), Atalanta (Archer), and Leonidas I (Lancer) will be joining these location tests.
Finally, the stage presentation also revealed that Maaya Sakamoto will be performing the Arcade Edition’s theme song. She also performed the original smartphone version’s theme song as well.
