Fans of 90s anime rejoice! There is a limited-time-only Ranma 1/2 cafe currently running in Tokyo, from 6th January to 25th February 2018! Held at THE GUEST cafe and diner in Parco Ikebukuro, the special cafe will feature one of seminal boys manga author Rumiko Takahashi’s greatest works as collaboration food items and special merchandise.
Some of the most hilarious food items on the menu include a Jusenkyo Cursed Springs Hotpot, Ukyo’s Okonomiyaki, Shampoo’s Cat Cafe Ramen, P-chan’s Directionally-challenged Pancakes, and for folks with cast-iron stomachs — Akane’s Home-made Training Meal with “Special” Seasonings.
There is also an entire line-up of specialty goods that change color or pattern when doused in hot or cold water — just like lead character Ranma Saotome who, as everyone knows, changes from male to female and vice versa when drenched in either hot or cold water.
We wanna share in the misery, so check out the gallery below from Comic Natalie!
