  • Live-action Fullmetal Alchemist film reveals two “Making of” videos

    After making its debut back in 1st December, the staff revealed what is behind the magic that is the live-action Fullmetal Alchemist film. They revealed not one, but two “Making of” videos, both of which feature some heavy CG scenes. Both videos also feature scenes before and after they added some CG effects.

    The film used several notable film techniques, such as green screen and visual manipulation. The scenes they featured included a few notable ones, such as Edward running in the rooftops and the infamous scene where Ed and Al tried to resurrect their mother.

    The film topped Japan’s weekend box office in its first week, and is still showing in Japanese cinemas. It also has IMAX and 4DX screenings in Japan as well. The film will then open in 190 countries and territories around the world. It stars Ryousuke Yamada as Edward Elric, while Atomu Mizuishi voices Alphonse Elric. Tsubasa Honda plays Winry Rockbell, while Dean Fujioka plays Roy Mustang.
