During a J-League match between V-Varren Nagasaki and Tokyo Verdy, the latter announced a new collaboration with Gintama. This will include several artworks featuring Gintama characters wearing the team’s uniforms, as well as merchandise.
These new collaboration merchandise include special jerseys featuring the main Yorozuta trio. They are also releasing a limited-edition T-shirt featuring Elizabeth and the team’s mascot, Verdy-kun.
In addition, Tokyo Verdy games will also feature life-size standees of the Gintama characters. Elizabeth, which appeared in the game against V-Varren Nagasaki, will also be making appearances.
But this won’t be the first time Tokyo Verdy has teamed up with an anime though. It previously teamed up with A Certain Scientific Railgun.
