  • Macross Delta theatrical anime announced during an event

During the “Rock in Japan Festival 2017” event, the members of Walküre announced something big for the Macross 35th Anniversary. This is because the five seiyuu members revealed that the Macross Delta TV anime series will be getting its very own anime film.

However, they didn’t reveal any more details about this new film. As of the moment, we still don’t know if it will be a remake of the TV anime, much like the Macross Frontier films, or a sequel. The staff promised that they will reveal more details soon.

Walküre also announced other Macross 35th Anniversary events as well. This includes a new live musical concert, though they didn’t reveal if this would include all the Macross series. They also revealed a planetarium project, an amusement center, projection mapping display, new toys and figures, a special shop, and network projects.
