  • Live-action Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure film finally reveals Jotaro Kujo

    The official website for the live-action film adaptation of Hirohiko Araki’s Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Part IV manga has been updated. This new update has revealed that Japanese actor, Yusuke Iseya, in costume as Jotaro Kujo himself.

    Jotaro is the third Jojo and is also the mentor to the fourth Jojo, Josuke Higashikata, played by actor Kento Yamazaki. Jotaro is also the main character for Part III of the manga, Stardust Crusaders. Many fans also considered the character as one of the most popular Jojos in the entire series. As for the actor playing him, Iseya previously played Aoshi Shinomori in the live-action Rurouni Kenshin films.

    Meanwhile, the film will follow Part IV of the manga, Diamond is Unbreakable. It follows the adventures of Josuke Higashikata and his friends, along with Jotaro of course. The website previously revealed Yamazaki as Josuke, as well as other characters. The film will premiere in Japan on 4 August 2017.
