    The film has already been shown in several countries here in Asia, including Singapore, Philippines, Korea, and China. In fact, your name is now China’s highest-grossing Japanese film of all time, raking in US$81 million. The film is breaking records in South Korea as well.

    The film became the most successful Japanese anime film of all time without having to rely in the North American sales that much. This is because they have yet to give the film its wide release in both US and Canada. They will be showing your name in the US starting April.

    Meanwhile in Japan, the film is now likely to surpass Frozen. The film has now earned 23.2 billion yen, becoming the third highest-grossing film in Japan. As the film is currently being shown in Japanese theaters, it seems that the film would likely surpass Frozen’s 25.5 billion yen mark. Though has surpassed Spirited Away’s global sales, it’s still far from breaking its Japanese record of 30.1 billion yen.
