We have a new Fate anime ladies and gentlemen, as it was announced that Type-Moon’s very first smartphone game, Fate/Grand Order, is officially getting adapted into an anime as well. The new anime is a TV special, and is officially titled Fate/Grand Order -First Order-.
Heroman director, Hitoshi Nanba, is directing this new Fate project over at Lay-Duce. It is scheduled to air by the end of 2016, and will star Nobunaga Shimazaki as Ritsuka Fujimaru, and Rie Takahashi as Mashu Kirieraito. Ayako Kawasumi will be voicing the creature known as Fou.
Finally, it was also announced that Maaya Sakamoto, who voices a few characters in the smartphone game, is responsible for performing the theme song.
