After the success of the new 2016 TV anime adaptation, Berserk is going to do what many fans have expected, and that is to go on yet another hiatus. According to an early look at the next issue of Young Animal magazine, Berserk is going back on hiatus, and it will not be back until the first half of 2017.
Series mangaka, Kentaro Miura, has become quite infamous for his long and frequent hiatuses, which have gone on for years. Many fans have joked that he goes on hiatus every time a new [email protected] game gets released because of the pattern of his hiatuses. The latest [email protected] game, Platinum Stars, was released for the PS4 earlier this year.
While Miura’s hiatuses have gone on for years on end, his last hiatus only lasted six months, and only returned last 24 June 2016. More details on when the hiatus will actually end will be announced in the future.
