  • [ANIME] 7,649 Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards on Display in Shinjuku Station

Yuugi and Kaiba are back for the upcoming Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions anime film, which will premiere in Japan this weekend. And what better way to promote the film than displaying a total of 7,649 Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards inside Shinjuku Station?!

These 7,649 Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards are all the cards that were released since 1999, when fans were introduced to the now-famous trading card game franchise, which has also spawned plenty of spin-offs. Here are a few more pictures from Shinjuku, as taken by passers-by.

Meanwhile, the Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions anime film is set to premiere this Saturday, 23 April 2016, and will feature the return of both Yugi and Kaiba, in a brand new story set after the events of the manga. Some of the original characters have also been confirmed to be a part of the film, and no, I don’t think they would be doing that “trading card game on motorbikes” thing in this one.
