During the UNCOVERED: FINAL FANTASY event held at the legendary Shrine Auditorium in Hollywood, California, SquareEnix announced that the highly-anticipated Final Fantasy XV (FFXV) will be released on the 30th of September 2016. If you were still undecided about FFXV, I encourage you to check out the trailer below.
Highlighting the new game’s more bizarre and epic moments, alternating between amazing battle scenes, and touching personal moments. Culminating in a powerful rendition of “Stand By Me” by Florence Welch + The Machine mixed perfectly with the iconic Final Fantasy Theme.
Also revealed at the event, was the latest demo for FFXV, FFXV Platinum Demo. Where some of the game’s more interesting mechanics were also covered. The Platinum Demo is a small standalone experience which follows Noctis in his youth and gives players a feel of how FFXV will be like once it’s released, complete with battles and interactions with in-game objects.

Together with the main game, SquareEnix announced JusticeMonsters Five, a mobile game set to be released this year.
Together with the announcement of the games and demo, SquareEnix also announced the a CGI movie, Kingsglaive, and anime series, Brotherhood, to add to the lore of FFXV. Trailers for both are available below.
A prequel to the game, the anime will be a series of five ten-minute long episodes, available free on YouTube, that tells the story of how Noctis and his friends came to travel together. Produced by A-1 Pictures, best known for Sword Art Online, Black Butler and Persona, the anime will tie in with the game’s Platinum demo.
The first episode has been made available on YouTube, but there is no news on when the subsequent episodes will be released.
