This first song is titled Ai Ai Ai ni Utarete Bye Bye Bye. It was the second opening for Anime Samurai Flamenco in 2014 performed by FLOW. It has recently gained quite the popularity during FLOW’s concerts. It’s about how one does his best In pursing his dreams so I personally really enjoy this song. That and it’s so hectic and crazy, it fits perfectly with Samurai Flamenco if you as me.

    Ai no Prison

Well it’s not exactly the correct kind kind of “Ai” for this month but this is one of the more recent songs starting with Ai! This is the opening theme song, Ai no Prison, from Prison School!  This song is about how falling in love is equivalent to getting into jail. It’s like a pun which plays off perfectly with Prison School itself! The song was sung by Kangoku Danshi, which is an original unit consisting of the 5 main male voice actors of Prison School.

    Ai Senshi

Well I can’t possibly have a list without Gundam right? This song does not come from the actual Gundam series where it’s often mistaken to be but from the more popular Movie remakes. This is the theme song of Mobile Suit Gundam II, Ai Senshi. Originally sung by Daisuke Inoue, this song is about the sorrows of war as men fight to protect the ones they love.

It’s a perennial favorite, often covered by many artists ranging from American rock artists who are Gundam fans, Japanese anison artists such as Masaaki Endoh to Gackt as well!

    Ai, Oboete Imasuka?

Well, do you? Also romanised as Do You Remember Love?, this famous song was the theme song as for the Movie version of the original The Super Dimension Fortress Macross series: Do You Remember Love?.

This song is a straight, honest to goodness love song which bring me to tears every single time I hear it. It does not matter whether is it the original singer Mari Ijima, Megumi Nakajima or another wonderful cover. In the movie, the song helps to quell the war between humanity, the Meltrandi and the Zentradi.

    Ai Wo Torimodose!!!

Of course, the last song had to be this song, there could be no other! Personally, this is my favorite of the lot. This song is also colloquially known as “You Wa Shock“!

This song originally sung by Crystal King in 1984 which served as the opening theme song to the anime Fist of the North Star. This song is about Kenshiro getting the love of his life, Yuria back from his enemies while beating the living hell out of every single enemy who crosses his path
Like the previous two, it has been covered many times throughout the years, in many renditions as well as even being parodied in Gintama as well.
