Earlier this year, Aki Toyosaki has started a new job as a weather girl for the TV Tokyo morning news show, Charge 730!, which airs in Japan every weekday morning at 7:30 a.m. Japan time. However, after six months in the gig, the program’s official twitter page has announced her graduation.

Best known for her role as Yui Hirasawa from K-On!!, the beloved seiyuu/ singer/ weather girl will be making her final appearance as the news program’s weather girl next week.

She will also be having a very busy autumn anime season beginning next month as she reprises her role as Kofuku in Noragami Aragoto and Chitose Ikeda in Yuruyuri San Hai!. She will also be starring in two upcoming anime, Concrete Revolutio: Choujin Gensou, where she will voice the character of Emi Kino, as well as Kami-sama Minarai: Himitsu no Cocotama, where she will voice Melori. Fans were having mixed feelings when it was announced that she’s saying goodbye, however, they have said that they had fun with Yui Hirasawa herself acting as their weather girl.
