  • [Anime] K: Return of Kings launches new visual and PV, staff and cast also announced

    The official website for the K anime series has finally been updated with new announcements of its staff and cast members. The website also unveiled a new key visual image.

    The website also posted a new teaser PV to make fans even more excited when it premieres this October 2015.

    As mentioned in the video, Gora X GoHands are credited for creating the K franchise with Shingo Suzuki (Coppelion) returning as both the director and character designer. Makoto Furuta (Seitokai Yakuindomo character designer) will serve as the chief animation director while Ken Naito will be the art director. GoRA will once again be writing the series composition, just like the original anime, and GoHands will be responsible for the animation production.

    Daisuke Namikawa (Fate/Zero’s Waver Velvet) will be returning as Yashiro Isana while Daisuke Ono (Black Butler’s Sebastian Michaelis) will also be returning as Kuroh Yatogami. The official website also announced the rest of the cast, and they include:

    • Mikako Komatsu (Oregairu’s Saika Totsuka) as Neko
    • Hiro Shimono (UtaPri’s Shou Kurusu) as Kotosaka
    • Jun Fukuyama (Assassination Classroom’s Kuro-sensei) as Misaki Yata
    • Kaori Nazuka (Strike Witches’ Lynette Bishop) as Douhan Hirasaka
    • Mamoru Miyano (Steins; Gate’s Rintarou Okabe) as Saruhiko Fushimi
    • Miyuki Sawashiro (Durarara’s Celty Sturluson) as Seri Awashima
    • Satomi Satou (K-On!’s Ritsu Tainaka) as Kukuri Yukizome
    • Shozo Iizuka (Dragon Ball Z’s Nappa) as Daikaku Kokujouji
    • Takahiro Sakurai (Magi’s Ja’Far) as Izumo Kusanagi
    • Tomokazu Sugita (Gintama’s Gintoki Sakata) as Reisi Munakata
    • Yui Horie (Toradora’s Minori Kushieda) as Anna Kushina
    • Yuuichi Nakamura (Clannad’s Tomoya Okazaki) as Rikio Kamamoto
