  • [SEIYUU] Yui Ogura's first solo album, Strawberry JAM, to be released in Singapore

    Update: The album will be a digital release instead of a physical CD release. More information will be release on the 1 April 2015.

    Japanese seiyuu, Yui Ogura, has recently released a new music video for her latest single, Happy Strawberry. The song will be part of her brand new album, Strawberry JAM, which was announced to also be released in Singapore.

    To further hype up the new album, a dance version of Happy Strawberry has also been released by King Records and it’s a little bit different from the short version which was released earlier.

    This new album will contain 12 songs and will be released as her very first solo album, including two of her previously released singles, Baby Sweet Berry Love and Tinkling Smile. The limited edition version will also include a Blu-Ray/ DVD which will feature the music videos for Happy Strawberry, Raise, Baby Sweet Berry Love, Charming Do!, Tinkling Smile and the making video of Strawberry JAM.

    The album was released in Japan on 25 March, and will be sold in Singapore stores on 1 April. Further details on the Singaporean release will be announced in the days to come.     Yui Ogura is actually part of the 2-member seiyuu unit known as YuiKaori along with voice actress Kaori Ishihara. She then made her solo debut back in 2012 with the single titled Raise. She is best known for her clear and cute voice as well as voicing various “loli” characters like Tsukiko Tsutsukakushi from The Hentai Prince and the Stony Cat (Henneko), Campione!’s Athena, Ro-Kyu-Bu!’s Hinata Hakamada, and Hyperdimension Neptunia’s Rom.
