Start stocking up your tissues for this coming September because the official twitter page for the AnoHana team’s reunion movie, Kokoro ga Sakebitagatterunda (Kokosake for short), has announced that the movie will be making its Japanese premiere this 19 September 2015.
Those attending this weekend’s Anime Japan 2015 at the Tokyo Big Sight will have a chance to get their hands on some advanced tickets for the movie. Those who purchase these advance tickets will also be able to get an event-only B2-size poster for the movie (pictured above). The Kokosake advanced tickets can be purchased for 1,500 yen in the Aniplex Booth during Anime Japan 2015 from 21 – 22 March.
Kokoro ga Sakebitagatterunda, which literally means “My Heart Wants to Shout”, has the tag line “Beautiful Word, Beautiful World”. It is described to be a “coming of age story” and with the team responsible for AnoHana in charge of this project, expect to find some ninjas cutting onions in the theaters so bring lots of tissues.
The movie will feature the original AnoHana dream team of Tatsuyuki Nagai as the director, Mari Okada will be in-charge of script-writing, and Masayoshi Tanaka will resume his role as character designer. More announcements about this anime movie will be made during Anime Japan 2015.
