Capcom’s genre-defining giant-monster-hunting video game franchise, Monster Hunter, has just been announced by Capcom’s own producer Ryozo Tsujimoto, that it is getting adapted into a Hollywood movie.
The announcement was made during a live stage event for Monster Hunter Stories, where Tsujimoto said:
“While it isn’t related to Stories, there is a Hollywood movie adaptation of the main series in progress.”
They really didn’t elaborate on the movie much, but it was a Capcom MH producer who announced it himself. The stage event also presented the 5th trailer for Monster Hunter Stories, which will be released for the Nintendo 3DS on 8th October.
