    Hitori no Shita: The Outcast

This anime is a co-production between two countries, China and Japan. It is based on a web-comic, whose rights are owned by Chinese company, Tencent. Described as a “supernatural power battle anime”, Zhang Chulan, a boy who is attacked by zombies in a graveyard. While being attacked, he manages to save the life of a girl, who he later meets at a university. His meeting with the girl will lead him to meet individuals with super powers, and thrust him into a new world of mystery.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Signs of Holy War

While many people know that there will be a new Seven Deadly Sins anime airing this summer, many might not know that it will only be a 4-episode TV special and not a full series. The series will not be airing in July like the rest of the anime this season, but towards the end of August. The anime will air on 28 August, and will occupy the time slot previously filled by The Heroic Legend of Arslan: Dust Storm Dance, which will only run for eight episodes. Series mangaka, Nakaba Suzuki is writing the story for this 4-part special.

    New Game

Ever want to find out about the gaming industry and how games are produced? Then you might want to check out New Game, which will be taking behind-the-scenes looks at the Japanese video game industry. Based on the moe manga by Shoutarou Tokunou, the anime will follow Aoba Suzukaze, who just graduated high school but is often mistaken for a middle school student. She loves video games, and decides to become a 3D artist by joining a gaming company.

    Qualidea Code

Set in a world where humanity is under attack by the “unknown”, this new series will follow a group of teenagers who were forced into cold sleep and wake up 10 years later, already with the abilities to fight these “unknown”. As they wake up, these kids are then tasked to defend the cities of Tokyo, Chiba, and Kanagawa. This new anime promises a lot of action, and if you like series like Attack on Titan and Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress, you might want to check this one out too.

    Fudanshi Koukou Seikatsu

Contrary to popular belief, there are actually male yaoi fans out there, and Fudanshi Koukou Seikatsu follows one of them. The anime will follow Sakaguchi, a male yaoi fan (called a Fudanshi) who also has other male friends who are also into Boys’ Love (BL). The anime follows their exploits, and is recommended for fans who want to know more about them.
