• [SEIYUU] Yukari Tamura is only 15?! Microsoft's 'How Old do I Look?' site guesses the ages of some seiyuus

In Japan, there are some seiyuus who don’t seem to age at all. One fine example is none other that Yukari Tamura (Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha’s Nanoha Takamachi) who does not look 39 at all!

Microsoft’s ‘How Old do I Look?‘ site takes a guess at how old certain individuals are, and the Japanese just took the idea and ran with it as they used the website to guess the ages of some seiyuus. So, how does 39-year old Yukarin look like according to the website?

Wait, What?! 15?! OK, let’s try somebody younger than Yukari Tamura shall we? Let’s try Yui Ogura (Ro-Kyu-Bu!’s Hinata Hakamada), who is really 19 years old right now

That’s quite near her age, but if you think about it, 19-year old Yui Ogura still looks a year OLDER than 39-year old Yukari Tamura… well, according to the website at least.

This next one features seiyuus who are all currently 23 years old. They are Minako Kotobuki (K-On!’s Tsumigi Kotobuki), Aoi Yuuki (Madoka Magica’s Madoka Kaname), Saori Hayami (The Irregular at Magic High School’s Miyuki Shiba), and Nao Touyama (Kantai Collection’s Kongou).

They are all 23?! Poor Minako Kotobuki, she looks older than she really is. Now let’s take a look at 27-year old Ai Kayano (AnoHana’s Menma) and how she fares:

23? Not bad. Next, we take a look at the cast of the comedy anime, Chronicles of the Going Home Club. Here we see 17-year old Ibuki Kido (Golden Time’s Chinami Oka) being mistaken to be 11 years older than she really is.

How about the seiyuu group known as Sphere, which makes up of 25-year old Haruka Tomatsu (Sword Art Online’s Asuna), Minako Kotobuki (who again is just 23), 29-year old Ayahi Takagaki (Sword Art Online’s Lisbeth), and 28-year old Aki Toyosaki (K-On!’s Yui Hirasawa). A certain somebody looks older than she really is again… Well, that’s what the website is guessing

Next, we take a look at the main cast of Kiniro Mosaic, who are made up of 26-year old Risa Taneda (voices Aya in the anime), Nao Touyama (voices Karen in the anime), 27-year old Yumi Uchiyama (voices Yoko in the anime), 25-year old Manami Tanaka (voices Alice in the anime), and 27-year old Asuka Nishi (voices Shinobu in the anime). Let’s see how they fare:

Well, it’s safe to say that three of them look younger (especially Nao), but poor Risa Taneda gets the short straw as she looks 35 according to How Do I Look?

Love Live! is currently one of the hottest titles in anime, and its seiyuu unit, μ’s was not safe from being scanned as well:

Speaking of Love Live!, Umi Sonoda’s seiyuu, 28-year old Suzuko Mimori, did not have her age guessed by the website, so here’s one featuring her and her alone, and we think she might be happy with the result.

And finally, How Old Do I Look?’s most infamous result really ain’t Yukari Tamura, but Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure mangaka, Hirohiko Araki, who has now become a meme of sorts in Japan because the 52-year old manga legend does not seem to age at all, prompting many to theorize that he is actually like his character, Dio Brando, which is a vampire!

Seriously, the guy does not seem to age at all and seems to have looked the same since he made his debut as a mangaka. Some fans in the Japanese forum known as 2chan have even created a timeline which dates back to 3000 B.C.

Let’s just say that it’s likely that he will pull of an “It is I, Hirohiko Araki” a hundred years from now.
