• [FOOD] Is the Order a Rabbit?'s Chestnut Sweet Bean Jelly comes to real life

    Originally featured in the second episode of the moe anime, Is the Order a Rabbit? (Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu ka?), Kotobukiya is now offering the Amami Dokoro Ama Usa An no Kuri Yokan, which is the very chestnut sweet bean jelly served to Cocoa and the gang when they first visited the Ama Usa An tea house.


    Chiya Ujimatsu, Cocoa’s close friend, runs the Ama Usa An tea house, and was the one who served Cocoa and company the Amami Dokoro Ama Usa An no Kuri Yokan, and that is why she is being featured on the box of this Japanese sweet.


    These special sweet treats are made by Tachikawa Iseya, which is well-known for making traditional Japanese sweets. Each box of Amami Dokoro Ama Usa An no Kuri Yokan will cost 1,000 yen, and comes with a three special cards featuring a scene from the anime. They are available in Kotobukiya’s stores in Akihabara and Osaka


    Is the Order a Rabbit? is based on the manga by Koi and later adapted into an anime last year. It became surprisingly successful with its run and even became one of spring 2014’s most popular anime.
