Doraemon, our adorable robot cat, was first featured in a manga by Fujiko Fujio team (Hiroshi Fujimoto and Motoo Abiko), in 1969. The manga begins with a boy, Sewashi Nobi, who sent a robotic cat, Doraemon, back to the past in order to help his grandfather, Nobita, get through his life and gain a better future. Over the course of time, Nobita and Doraemon have developed an uncanny friendship. Our ever loving cat, Doraemon, is always there to help Nobita think of quick and easy ways to overcome some of his problems – problems like being bullied in school or getting bad grades. Doraemon brings in some one-of-kind gadgets, Doko demo Doa, Takecopter, etc.  from his yojigen-pocket.

Over the years, Doraemon have significantly gained popularity all over the world. It is one of the few mangas ever to get translated in several languages.
